Trained as an Aeronautic Engineer, he set up Fanda Films in 2004 together with the producer Niko Verona with whom he has made more than thirty short films. Having worked across comedy, thrillers, social and documentary cinema he has been able to explore a wide variety of narratives and characters. Fanda Films’ productions have been shown in hundreds of festivals, receiving dozens of national and international awards. Sharp and agile dialogues, extreme characters and strange and dystopian atmospheres, characterize this prolific Spanish filmmaker’s work.

‘The Elderly’ is going to be his third feature film with comercial release. The world premiere of the movie was in Montreal at Fantasia Film festival, where the movie won the Cheval Noir at best Actor. The USA premiere was in the official selection of Fantastic Fest Austin, and the European premiere was celebrate at the Oficial competition of Sitges Film Festival.
